MantiumCAE is entering a new partnership with D&T-SHRAIL to not only simulate crowd dynamics but also aerosol transmission of viruses such as Covid-19.
The latter is obviously currently of great importance to provide services to anyone who has to make sure that groups of people or individuals visiting a building or delimited outside areas can be reasonably safe of catching Covid.
By using simulation technology to simulate Covid transmission, it is possible to:
- Quantify how many people would currently get infected throughout the day
- Quantify how useful certain measures such as limiting people or allowed paths will be
- Visualize why and how certain measures actually work
- Have a rational basis for decisions
